Silver Comet Side-Track:
531 Seaboard
Avenue Hiram, GA 30141
Paulding SORBA created a partnership with the Paulding
County Parks and Recreation Department and The Paulding
County Sherriffs Office to initiate the maintenance and
re-alignment of several dangerous sections. It includes
8 miles of intermittent single track that enters and
exits the very popular Silver Comet Trail, so that
riders can take a break or ride the entire
bi-directional trail out and back. It will soon be
extended another 6 to 7 miles to the boundary of
Paulding Forest Wildlife Management Area. 1400 volunteer
hours went into resurrecting this trail in 2007! |
